Logo Design, Etsy Store Branding, Thank You Card Print Design
Client requested a logo and Etsy store design for their growing ice skating apparel and accessory business. The idea behind their business is to give inclusivity for those who feel like they don’t fit the mold of traditional ice skating norms, find fun in adulthood, and create whimsy. They wanted a bright, fun, whimsical and unapologetic design.
The first step in my process is to research, brainstorm, and create mood boards to set the vibe of the design. I included font and color palette options.
First drafts of logo options. After conversations with the client and mood board feedback, I focused on the royal aspect of the business name and its connection to ice skating.
The client chose the third option with additions and adjustments.
Color variations for the updated logo draft. The end goal for this part of the project was to create an eye-catching shop icon for Etsy.

Initial drafts for the Etsy shop banner. The client then informed me they wanted to incorporate a photo of the ice rink they took themselves.
Second drafts of Etsy shop banner. I used the client provided photo as well as a stock option that was in the same vein of what the client was looking for.
Final Etsy shop banner and icon in use in client’s Etsy shop. The client then requested a print-ready thank you card that matched the final shop banner.
